Ingredients (6 servings)

Mix all the ingredients, except cheese and bacon, in the order of the list . Knead well to mix. |
Finally add the grated cheese, taste the mixture, and if necessary add salt and knead some more. |
Spread a piece of baking paper onto the table. Place the 7 bacon slices in a row, one under the other creating a "pad" where you will place in a while the loaf. Divide the mixture in the dough in two parts and take the first half. Mold it to a roll and place it on the paved slices of bacon. Turn the edges of the bacon up to "hug" and to cover the roll. |
Carry it very carefully, using a spatula to avoid breaking, into the pan with the union facing down. Repeat for the other half. |
Fill the gap between the rolls with two colorful peppers and 2-3 carrots (optional). Bake in preheated oven at 200°C/ 400°F/ Gas 6 for 45'-50'. If they get color too soon, cover them with a baking sheet. When cooked, remove from oven, leave for 10 minutes to cool slightly and serve by cutting in slices. |
