Spicy dip with cream cheese and an intense aroma of cumin. Finely chopped onion and peppers give it an extra flavor.
Enjoy it with breadsticks or tortilla chips.
You can spread it on small buns and make sandwiches or toast bread and make small, irresistible canapés.
Your decision!

Spicy dip from India, from a very interesting blog curated by my e-friend Shri, with many local, but not only recipes.
Ingredients (3 servings)
|
Finely chop all vegetables. Roast the cumin seed for a few minutes in a nonstick skillet. Beat them in the mortar to crack and release their scent. |
In medium size bowl mix the cream cheese with all the chopped ingredients and half the green onion. The other half will be added come at the end for decoration. Add the spices and mix well. Serve in a bowl. Cover with transparent film, and place it in the fridge. |
Alternatively we can make this dip using sour cream cheese, or even yogurt in place of cream cheese. It is equally delicious. Try it!
