Dissolve the gelatin according to package directions. Brush a ⌀20cm mold with a little vegetable oil. Pour the jelly and leave to cool and thicken slightly. |
In the meantime remove the pits from the cherries and cut in two. When the jelly begins to thicken, stir in the cherries and pour to the mold. Put the mold in the refrigerator for 30' or until the dessert thickens. |
Beat the crème fraîche with sugar in the mixer, to a thick whipped cream. |
Spread over the cherries, flattening the surface, with the back of a spoon. |
Put a few biscuits on top, which will form the basis of the dessert, when turned upside down. Put the mold in the refrigerator, covered, for 5 hours, ideally overnight. |
To easily pull the dessert from the mold: Dip the mold for a few seconds in hot water, carefully passing the blade of a knife between the cake and the mold, put a plate on the form, holding firmly, and turn over.
