Banana split is a classic ice cream served in an oblong dish and contains fresh banana, sliced lengthwise, hence the split. There are many variations, but the classic banana split is made with three scoops of ice cream flavors of vanilla, chocolate and strawberry. Garnished with nuts, whipped cream and maraschino cherries.
Try the version I suggest, with the banana dipped in a thick batter and fried. Accompany it with the ice cream of your choice, made by you or even ready.
