Ingredients (6 servings)
|
In a wide saucepan, over medium heat, add the onion and garlic mashed. Add the butter and let it saute and shine. |
Wash the sausages and remove the outer membrane. Finely chop the flesh and add it to the pot with the onions to fry.
|
Add the diced tomatoes and cherry tomatoes cut in half. Mix. |
Finally add the chopped basil. |
At the same time, boil in salted water the penne a little less than the time it writes on the package. Drain and grease lightly, shaking the colander. Keep aside a little of the boiled water, you may need it. |
In the saucepan add the mozzarella, cut into small cubes and sprinkle with half the Parmesan. Stir and add the penne. Check if they have enough broth, or add a little water from the boiled pasta. Mix well and remove from heat. |
Grease well the oven proof dish and pour in it the entire contents of the pot. |
Spread the surface and sprinkle with the remaining Parmesan cheese and a little basil. Cut into slices the mozzarella balls and cover the entire surface of the pasta. Place the pan in the oven at 180°C (356°F, Gas 4.2) and bake for ~30 minutes until a golden, cheesy crust. |
