Ingredients (10-12 Bread rolls)
|
Mix all the ingredients -except the melted butter and the oil- in the mixer or in a bowl and beat with the hook or knead with your hands for about 10 minutes until done an elastic dough. If necessary add a little warm water. |
Cease operation of the mixer when the dough is concentrated like a ball around the hook. Shape with the help of a little flour to form a ball. |
Grease with a little oil, a bowl and put in the dough ball. You roll it inside the bowl for greasing all sides. Cover the bowl, a transparent membrane in contact with the dough. From top cover with kitchen towel. |
Allow to rise for 1-2 hours. It should almost double in volume. When inflated, press the dough to deflate. |
Knead on a floured surface… |
… and form with it a long cylinder, which you cut to 10-12 doughs. |
Knead well every dough, creating small, equal-sized balls. |
With lightly oiled hands take each ball, make it flat with your fingers, onto the handful into discs with a diameter of ~7 cm (2.8 in). |
Place in distance every dough disc in a shallow baking pan, lined with wax paper, pressing lightly. |
Let them rise again, covered, for 1 hour. Brush them with half the melted butter. With the other half you brush them when removing from the oven. |
Bake in preheated oven at 190°C (374°F, Gas 5) for 15'-18'. When you get the bread out of the oven do not forget to spread the top with the remaining melted butter, as they are hot. Store in refrigerator in an airtight container for several days. |
