Ingredients (∼18 Truffles)

Remove pits from dates, put them in a bowl and sprinkle with brandy and orange zest. Mix. Cover with plastic wrap and leave aside for a while. Peel the pistachios and cut the figs in four. In the bowl of food processor, add the figs and dates to be worked on slightly. |
Add the vanilla, ginger and pistachios (keep a few for coating at the end) to be worked on, whithout becoming dust. |
It is sufficient to unite into a mass all the ingredients. |
Take, with a spoon, a small amount of the mixture and form balls a little smaller than a nut. You roll them onto chopped peanut and place them on silicone surface. |
Chocolate Coating
In a small bowl mix all the ingredients of the coating to unite in a homogenous and shiny chocolate cream. |
Take one by one the balls and dip them in chocolate or lightly brush a little chocolate on them with a spoon, as if wearing a hat. |
You place them on a dish and refrigerate. Eaten directly, if we prefer, they just tighten a little in the fridge, without petrified. |
You can taste and enjoy a great little dessert, aromatic and unique. The chocolate, because of the oil it contains, remains supple and soft continuously. |
