My favorite cheese cake is so simple and without crust without infinite combinations of ingredients that could be put in the cream. It is a naked pie, made with only the Swiss Gruyère cheese. We can compare it to its counterpart, the Greek Gruyère but definitely of different taste.
Therefore three ingredienents, gruyère cheese, eggs and sour cream in a bowl without mixer and have quickly a simple delicious dish at our table. And like any simple tastes so and this dish garnished with a light, fresh, green salad and tomatoes from our jar.

Butter a oven dish 20×30cm (7.9×11.8 in) and sprinkle cheese thoroughly to cover the surface. In a medium sized bowl add the eggs, salt, pepper and nutmeg. Beat them for a while and add the milk cream to join the ingredients. |
Over the grated cheese scatter the sun dried and chopped tomatoes. Mix carefully and little by little the egg mixture over the entire surface above the cheese. |
Bake in preheated oven at 200℃ (392℉, Gas:5.7) under the grill for 30 minutes until the surface of the cake gets golden brown. Garnish a plate with a green salad mixture and tomatoes from our jar and put up pieces of the warm pie. |
