Cretan Sweet Cheese Mini Pies/ Kalitsounia-DIY
Doing these Cretan Sweet Cheese Mini Pies today I recalled in my memory stories of my childhood. I remembered our grandmother doing these in her Kitchen. Mizithropites is made with a thin sheet of homemade dough filled with cheese (traditionally stuffed with ricotta cheese/ mizithra), cinnamon & honey and then fried. They become light and soft like a soft pillow! They are then sprinkled with powdered sugar & cinnamon or simply sprinkled with our favorite & our own thyme honey…
Classic, traditional and popular sweet mizithropitakia, popular delicacy for rural but also urban Crete, which the housewives made and make in many aspects of social life, and especially in the Easter celebrations with the Cretan Cheese Pies savory and sweet.
A simple yeast rolled in the machine -for easier procedure- fresh local mizithra and served with honey or powdered sugar and cinnamon.

The classic Niçoise salad is a famous salad from Nice, France. Today it has spread to all over the world, since it is so tasty and beloved by many.
As a salad based on the best quality of ingredients and has great "flexibility" and is customizable by adding various vegetables, as colorful peppers, chives or fresh artichokes, which make it delicious, colorful and seductive. The base, however, always include tuna, anchovies and hard-boiled eggs.

Spiral-Shaped Greek Cheese Pie
Special cheese pie in a spiral shape (twisted or snail) with a thin crust sheet, feta cheese, cheddar, soft strained ricotta, dill and mint. I called it spring because of the herbs that give it flavor and great taste. Enjoy the as main dish combined with a light green salad, to alleviate the high fat taste of mizithra (or ricotta) cheese pie. Also, I suggest you enjoy it with a sturdy spoon of honey onto the hot pie.

Banoffee Pie

Banoffee Pie
Banoffee Pie is an English dessert, which is made from bananas, caramel cream by boiling the milk and sweetened whipped cream. The base is crushed cookies and butter or a simple base dough.
Here the Banoffee (banana & toffee) was made into individual portions, consisting as a first layer, of a base of biscuit and nuts, roasted & crushed hazelnuts. A second layer of caramel cream, a third layer of banana slices and finally lots of whipped cream, sprinkled with grated chocolate, cocoa and caramel cubes. Yours!

Cold Sandwich in tortilla rolls for all the hours, for work or party. With ham, cheese, chorizo, ripe avocado and cherry tomatoes. Lightweight and very tasty. The chorizo, the spicy paprika, is what gives it extra spicy note and make it more interesting taste.

Cajun Chicken
Another suggestion of our favorite Cajun & Creole Cuisine this delicious and extra spicy chicken with potatoes in the oven. As familiar as it looks is different from the usual. The special character of it is offered by the excellent cajun spice mix and chopped spring onion to the end before serving.
