Ingredients (6 large glasses)

Wash the cherries and remove the seeds and stems. Pour into a pan with the sugar, zest of lemon and 80 g (2.8 oz) water. | Boil in low heat for 10 minutes to soften and caramelize. Remove them from the heat and let them cool completely. |
Meanwhile squeeze lemons and pass the juice of lemon from a strainer. Pour it in a large jug. | In the blender mash the candied cherries and pour them and the jug, strained if you prefer. | Add the soda and cold water. Mix well and serve. |
The lemonade is quite sour. If you want it sweeter, add 100g (3.5 oz) sugar in the jug that you will serve.
