
Whenever preparing large holiday meals we make 2-3 desserts for the occasion (certainly some of them are with chocolate for the black goddess worshipers) are preparing something seasonal and light, like a fruit salad.
Here we propose a great solution for an ideal and light dessert will like. Baked pears in ruby pomegranate syrup are beautiful and festive! It is much more tempting than a typical fruit salad… If you need a companion I would suggest little Greek yogurt, bathed with grenadine and nothing else.

![]() In a small saucepan, over medium heat, add the pomegranate juice, sugar and lemon juice. Mix gently. Once warm and the sugar has dissolved remove from heat and leave it aside for a while. |
![]() Wash and clean the pears. Cut in two lengthwise and remove their central part with seeds. |
![]() Place them in a row in a fireproof oven dish with the cut side down. |
![]() On top sprinkle the pomegranate syrup, you have prepared previously. Add scattered the spices. |
![]() Bake in preheated oven 180℃ (356℉, Gas:4.2) with air for 45′. Let cool enough and serve with extra syrup of pomegranate and pomegranate arils. |
