Burgers Stuffed with Eggs
Delicious, filling, daily plate of burgers. Shape spicy burgers, mixed with minced veal and pork and at the center of each patty close a boiled egg. Spices and dehydrated onion with concentrated the flavor of onion, added to the mixture of minced meat, provide great taste in burgers. Their accompanying such as carrots, potatoes, peppers make them even more delicious.
It is a variation on individual portions of the famous and beloved minced roll, stuffed with boiled eggs.

Burgers Stuffed with Eggs

Ingredients (6 burgers)

  • 800g (1.8 lbs) mixed minced
  • 100g (3.5 oz) grated regkato
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 3 tbsp dried onion
  • 4 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp sumac
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • salt & pepper
  • 6 eggs cooked, peeled
In mixing bowl add the mince and on top add up all the remaining ingredients except for boiled eggs. We will use them afterwards.
Knead the minced well to join the ingredients to a single soft mixture.
In a baking pan pour a little oil. Divide the meat mixture into 6 equal portions. Take the one on your hand and mold it in small round disc. Inside place a boiled egg.
Turn the edges of the tray up to the egg to cover it all. Shape into a round ball.
Place each burger, we make, in the pan in a row and spaced.
Leave them aside for a while to prepare the remaining ingredients.

Ingredients for baking pan

  • 3 large carrots
  • 3 green peppers
  • 1kg (2.2 lbs) potatoes
  • 200g (½ can) (7.1 oz) chopped tomato, mashed
  • 50g (1.8 oz) olive oil
  • salt & pepper
  • 100g (3.5 oz) grated regato
Peel and wash and cut the vegetables and potatoes into large chunks. Place them around the burgers, we have already prepared, placed in the pan. On top sprinkle oil and tomato sauce. Salt and pepper and cover with aluminum foil.
Bake in oven preheated to 200℃ (392℉, Gas:5.7) with resistors for an hour. Remove the pan from the oven remove the foil and sprinkle each burger with plenty of grated cheese. Replace the pan in the oven to golden brown and the cheese to melt.
