Ingredients (~15 little men cookies)
|
In bowl suitable for the microwave or in a saucepan, add sugar, butter and honey. You heat them all together to melt the butter and make a uniform mixture. Mix and set aside to just drop the temperature. |
In another bowl, sift the flour with the baking powder, salt and baking soda. Add the spices and the melted butter mixture. |
Mix with a spatula at the beginning and then with our hand. Do not knead. |
Once the dough is formed into a ball, cover and set aside for 15 minutes. If the dough is too hard and crumbles, add an tablespoons oil or light to soften. |
Lightly flour the work surface, you get about ⅓ of the dough and roll out with a rolling pin a sheet thickness of ~2-3 mm. With dough cuter in a little man shape or any other shape we cut the dough sheet. |
Lift each cookie with a spatula to avoid breaking and place it onto paper and into the oven pan (a big baking tray with baking paper). With a toothpick make eyes, buttons and with a teaspoon we form the mouth. Continue with the remaining dough, gathering every time the rest of the cuts. |
Put the pan in a preheated oven at 170℃ (338℉, Gas:3.5) air and for ~15', slightly browned edges of the wafer. Remove the pan from the oven and let cool the cookies completely, because they crumble as they are hot. |
If you want decorate them with various designs or leave them as they are. Decorating suggestions are below. |
