Open the dates alongside and remove the inner pit. Collect them in small bowls, sprinkle them with Mandarin Extract, Mandarin Liqueur and orange zest. Mix well and leave them for a while to soften so that you can mash them. In the meantime, roast the nuts that are for roasting and leave them to cool. |
In bowl of food processor or strong blender add the dates to pulp and if necessary add a little orange juice to facilitate pulping. Cut with a knife into smaller pieces the nuts that are hard and big. Empty the pulped dates in medium sized bowls and add the dried nuts on top and sprinkle with the cloves. Stir with spoon very well to mix the ingredients together. |
