Ingredients (~30 Buscuits)
|
Remove the butter from the fridge 45′ before starting to make the cookies, so that it becomes really soft. In a large mixing bowl or food processor, combine the soft butter and sugar until it becomes a nice, fluffy & smooth mixture. |
Add the grated hazelnuts together with the clove powder… |
… and stir for a very short time. |
Add the flour and mix to combine the ingredients. |
Pour the mixture into a bowl and knead lightly with your hands. If the dough is too soft we may need to add a tablespoon of flour in small amounts. |
Once the dough is evenly combined, use your hands to make small balls weighing 22 grams, slightly smaller than a walnut. |
Place them in the large baking tray on a non-stick surface and press a whole hazelnut on top of them. We can make different shapes with the small cup pat forms. |
Bake in a preheated oven with air, at 180℃ (356℉, Gas Mark:4.2) for ~20′. Once they start to brown around the perimeter, take them out of the oven and let them cool completely before moving them. They are enjoyed sprinkled with powdered sugar. |
